I've found a place to live, so this week I've been focused on moving in. As that's taking place, I'm observing what's going on with my mind, emotions, and physical body. Definite changes occurring, as my energy is shifting from pushing forward, being in crisis mode for the last four+ months, to settling down. Hopefully, slowing down.
I'm curious to see how things are ... how I am ... once I make this transition. Right now, though, my brain just doesn't want to focus enough to make coherent sentences. Or maybe there's so much going on in there, it's still in process, so it's not time yet to grab hold of the thoughts and ideas and reduce them to words on paper (or hard drive.)
At any rate, there are still the usual "moving into a new home" things to do, some of which need doing now and some of which can be done gradually. I'm taking the cats to their new home this afternoon; one last time in their cat carriers in the car.
I'm seriously in need of some rest. Time to turn on the music, get some books out, settle on the sofa, and chill.
Hi Kitty,
Best of luck with the move! Impermanence is a reality, but it's still nice to have a little stability from time to time.
